This Image is the face of my dear friend Kelly. This took my nine days to accomplish with all the struggles of a smooth face. The difficulty of drawing a smooth face is not with the edges and lines of a face, but with the shadows and shades, and sometimes the shadows on the picture are in a slightly different shade, which makes a big difference in capturing the persons face. But I was able to push through by listening to the Acts of the Apostles and St. Augustine's Confessions (which I was able to finish listening to in the span of the time it took me to finish this sketching.)
